Amy spent the majority of her life living in Michigan, in several different areas before moving to Chicago! Amy grew up with animals her entire life. Her parents bred basset hounds when she was young and her dad currently has six dogs – 4 dachshunds, a cocker spaniel, and a shih tzu. While she doesn’t currently have any pets of her own, Amy spends a lot of time with her father’s dogs and her brother’s angelic little calico. Amy hopes to adopt a rescue pet soon and also start raising snails! If Amy could be any breed of dog, she’d probably be a sheepdog because her hair is also too long and always in her face. Outside of walking dogs, Amy enjoys drawing, playing video games, and collecting plushes and Tamagotchis. What Amy enjoys most about walking dogs is having the companionship of a cute little friend while also getting some fresh air together! What Amy loves most about animals is how rewarding it is to befriend an animal and earn their trust! “It’s a great feeling, to love an animal and know they love you in return.”

Cai is from the north Chicago suburbs! They grew up with a little Maltese named Bailey with the occasional hamster in the mix before taking on animals of their own – two gorgeous Pitties named Scout and Jem. They are currently in training to become a positive reinforcement dog trainer through Karen Pryor Academy! Presently they’re building a life with a Cocker Spaniel mix named Haloumi (who predictably loves cheese). If Cai could be any breed of dog they would be a Pitbull, because they love trying to look tough on the outside while not so secretly embodying the soft energy of a cotton ball. Outside of walking dogs, Cai likes to rock climb, run by the lakeside, and attempt to sew their clothes! The best thing about dog walking to Cai is being able to build mutual trust while navigating the world together. What Cai loves most about animals is how they teach us to love and play more!
