Alec is originally from Washington D.C., but he moved to Chicago about 6 years ago. Alec has always had dogs and has been dog walking and pet sitting since Middle School. He’s done everything from daily walking to extended in-home pet sitting. Alec currently owns a springer spaniel & pit mix, but they are staying with his parents on a lake down south. He thought it was better for a dog than living in a 1 bedroom apartment in Chicago! If Alec could be any dog breed, he would be a pitbull mix because while they tend to have a bad reputation for being aggressive, in reality, they are some of the most loving dogs on earth, and if Alec had that kind of reputation, he would love to see the reaction to people when they see how lovable Alec (& his breed) are! When not walking dogs, Alec enjoys being outdoors – swimming, biking, hiking, and enjoying the Chicago sunset with friends. What Alec loves most about walking dogs is seeing their pure excitement when they know they are going to go outside and explore! Alec’s favorite characteristic about animals is that they are the most loyal creatures on the planet. Even though they can’t talk, they are excellent at showing their unconditional love for people.
