In 2015, Chicago experienced a major epidemic of canine influenza (a.k.a. dog flu) that affected a huge percentage of dogs all across the city. Since then, the city’s dog owners, veterinarians, and other pet care professionals have been working diligently to prevent another outbreak of the virus. We sat down with Dr. Natalie Marks of Blum Animal Hospital to discuss the dog flu and what we can do to keep dogs safe during flu season.
